These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access and use of the SSL platform, a proprietary academic index database operated by SSL Index Solutions in association with Anchor Book Publisher Africa ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing, creating an account, submitting content, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Services

SSL provides:

  • Indexing services for scholarly and academic materials.
  • A searchable repository for peer-reviewed research.
  • Unique SSL Codes assigned to approved academic works.
  • Access to curated academic materials for subscribers.

2. Account Registration

To submit or access materials, users must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity under their account.

3. Submission & Review Process

  • Users may upload scholarly articles, journals, or related materials.
  • Submissions undergo expert review. Approval is not guaranteed.
  • Approved works proceed to a payment stage before publication.
  • We reserve the right to reject any submission without obligation to provide feedback.

4. Payments and Fees

  • Authors pay a one-time fee per submission once approved.
  • Readers pay a monthly or annual subscription to access indexed content.
  • All prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (₦) but apply to a global audience.
  • SSL reserves the right to modify pricing at any time with prior notice.

5. Intellectual Property & User Responsibility

  • Users retain copyright to their submitted works.
  • By submitting, you grant SSL a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, index, and display your content.

Indemnity Against Plagiarism and Copyright Infringement:

  • You affirm that your submissions are original or appropriately credited.
  • You are solely responsible for the content you submit.
  • SSL disclaims all liability for copyright infringement or plagiarism.
  • In the event of a verified infringement:
    • The content will be removed immediately.
    • No refund will be issued.
    • The user may be permanently banned from the platform.

6. Content Access and Restrictions

  • Access to indexed materials is limited to paid subscribers.
  • Users must not share their credentials or redistribute content unlawfully.
  • SSL reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

7. Refund Policy

  • Authors: No refunds will be given once payment is made and content is published.
  • Subscribers: Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Modifications and Termination

SSL may update, suspend, or terminate services at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SSL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to use of the platform.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with international users subject to local laws where applicable.
